No. You remain aware and in control throughout the session.

What if I can’t be hypnotized?

Most people can enter hypnosis — because hypnosis is a natural state your brain already experiences daily.

Have you ever become completely absorbed in a movie and lost track of time? Or driven somewhere and realized you don’t remember part of the journey? Or drifted into that relaxed space just before sleep?

Those are examples of light hypnotic states.

Today there are 100’s of peer reviewed scientific research papers showing the effectiveness of hypnosis for treating anxiety, and in my practice, we have a 98% success rate using hypnosis to provide long term relief.

What is the best treatment for Anxiety?

There are many treatments for anxiety, with each having different rates of success. Some involve medication, which can help or help, but, cause dependency and side effects. There is talk therapy, meditation, exercise, and others. The great thing about hypnotherapy, is it has the highest success rate of many modalities because it works at the subconscious level. Meditation also aims to work at the subconscious level, however, it mostly affects the conscious mind.
